Have had this car as second owner from my uncle who had it from new, it constantly fails to start due to the security system, I think.
It used to go back to Nissan on a regular basis under warranty but they could never replicate the fault.
What you have to do , is take a deep breath and not swear at it, then operate the door opening/locking switch on the door several times, t may or may not start depending on how it feels. It may then just turn over without starting or it may spring into life.

This car is useless for a quick get away or when you need it to start, sure it knows when I need to get away quickly.
Are there any know causes for this?
